"The best air-conditioned coffee place in Balik Pulau! Ever since they opened, we've had family lunch here once a month or so. Great service, nice atmosphere, good background music which is not too loud like in some other places. I've come to like especially their double espressos, the all-day breakfast sets, and pizzas that come with the thinnest possible crust that is exactly to my liking. The only thing is that sometimes they don't have pepperoni or worse, any pizzas at all, which is when you need to get chicken pie or something else equally good."

"One of less crowded CBTL branch in Penang, as its located in Balik Pulau. The ambience is superb, especially the interiors. Coffee was great (a bit too sweet though so need to mention if you prefer lesser / no sugar when ordering) Food was tasty as well, their choice of bread in their sandwich is great"

"Alhamdulillah.. Allahumma barik. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is our favourite cafe for Hot chocolate,Iced Tea and Desserts. I love their Hot Chocolate which they serve with marshmallows and it is a must have for us whenever we visit Penang. My husband love the Carrot Cake which is actually very delicious. Their flavoured Iced Tea collection is great and perfect for the hot weather of Malaysia. This outlet is located in such a beautiful place that we often go there just to visit the locality of Botanica CT. This place is so peaceful to enjoy Tea/Coffee culture that the location of this outlet feels beyond perfect. We love sitting here and have our Tea/Coffee date. We often take away our Hot Chocolate/Iced Tea and Desserts and park our car in the nearby parking lot where we enjoy our ‘Afternoon Tea Date’ with the scenic beauty of this serene place. The staffs are friendly and efficient, quite well mannered I must say. We wanted our Iced Tea cold but not with ice so they made our drink according to our requirements and told us that the glass of the drink will not be full as there will be no ice and asked if we are okay with it which is very appreciable.
